About Dr. Matt Morscheck

Matt Morscheck, PhD, PCC, LPCC is an executive coach, consultant, and career strategist based in San Diego. He partners with leaders and organizations to unlock potential, build confidence, and create lasting impact.

With 15+ years of experience in Fortune 500, healthcare, tech, and finance organizations, Matt brings deep expertise in executive coaching, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness. He has designed and led enterprise-wide talent strategies, built leadership development programs from the ground up, and coached leaders at every level — from emerging managers to C-suite executives.

Matt has a PhD in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credentialed by the International Coaching Federation, and is a Certified Executive Coach (CEC) through the Center for Executive Coaching. He is certified to deliver various psychological assessments including Hogan Assessments (HPI, HDS, MVPI, Hogan 360), DiSC, MBTI, and the Strong Interest Inventory. He is also a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of California.

A frequent facilitator, trainer, and speaker, Matt has delivered workshops and keynote sessions on leadership, career growth, and organizational change. His work emphasizes evidence-based psychology, practical strategies, and a supportive coaching style that helps leaders thrive in complexity and transition.

Beyond his consulting practice, Matt has served in various leadership roles with professional associations, including past presidencies of the Oregon Counseling Association and the Oregon Career Development Association. He is an active volunteer as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) supporting foster youth through Voices for Children in San Diego county.
